Ground bison (1 pound)
Ground pork sausage (½ pound)
Chili powder (1 tbsp)
Ground cumin (1 tbsp)
Dry oregano (1 tbsp)
Unsweetened cocoa powder (1 tbsp)
Worcestershire sauce (1 tbsp)
Sliced tomatoes 1 (28 ounces)
Kosher salt (1 ½ tbsps)
Ground black pepper (½ tbsp)
How to prepare:
Ensure that you soak the chipotle pepper in water that is boiling till it softens, which can take about ten minutes. Take it out of the water and mince.
Heat the coconut oil in a pan on the heat, add green bell pepper, onion, and red bell pepper till it becomes tender. It can take about five to ten minutes. Stir the minced chipotle and garlic and let it boil till it becomes fragrant.
Stir the sausage and bison into the onion mix. Let i6t boil while you stir until the meat becomes crumbly and brown.
Add the cumin, cocoa powder, chili powder, oregano, and Worcestershire sauce to the bison mix, include the tomatoes, pepper, and salt, and continue to stir. Let it boil and reduce the heat, then simmer till the flavor blends well. It can take ten minutes.
